Appointment of Lady Sheila Lynn Davenport as FANA’s Chief of Staff and legal advisor for International Treaties and Trade Copy
February 5, 2024
The Federation of Aboriginal Nations of the Americas (FANA) continues to solidify its influence as it begins to establish and fill positions needed for its ambassadors to be able to accomplish their directives.
I would like to announce the appointment of Lady Sheila Lynn Davenport as FANA’s Chief of Staff and legal advisor for International Treaties and Trade.
She will be posted at FANA’s Great Britain Embassy and will report to Ambassador Mark Taylor. Ambassador Taylor reports to Ambassador Doug Scott. Ambassador Scott is FANA’s ambassador to the Commonwealth and Ambassadorial Coordinator. Ambassador Scott reports directly to the Minister of International Affairs and FANA’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Principal Chief Dr. Ronald Yonaguska Holloway of the SandHill Band of Lenape and Cherokee Indians (NY, NJ, PA).
Lady Davenport has had an extensive education. I will quote from her resume: She was “educated within the Military and the University of Leicester and Huddersfield studying Law, Criminology, Business Law & Finance, Advance Cost Drafting and Private Investigator (PI).”
During that time, she developed “exceptional organizational communication and administrations skills…”
This enabled her to work as a lawyer who specialized in “serious White-Collar Crime, Fraud, Murder, Drug Cases, Rape & POCA (Proceeds of Crime).
Lady Davenport has over thirty (30) years of experience as a lawyer and has worked in different practices throughout England. She specializes in Criminal Defense work, as well as with civil matters. She is noted for being able to “take a criminal case all the way to the European Courts of Human Rights in Strasburg.”
Trying to bring a case before the European Courts of Human Rights in Strasburg is a daunting challenge as there are many obstacles a lawyer would have to go through to accomplish such an outcome.
She has turned her attention to working to address legal matters confronting the Indigenous Peoples. Currently, she is working with Ambassador Taylor and OADO ECOSOC United Nations. They deal with International matters of criminality within the many indigenous communities and people worldwide.
FANA is very pleased to welcome Lady Davenport to our Federation.
