Appointment of Mr. Douglas Scott Ambassador to the Commonwealth and Asia Pacific region
November 14, 2023
The Federation of Aboriginal Nations of the Americas (FANA) is the first Indigenous Federation to become a global Federation comprised of First Contact Tribes/Nations/Countries that have entered into a series of treaties and cooperation agreements in modern history.
FANA continues to be acknowledged by Aboriginal/non-Aboriginal Organizations, Nations, and Tribes, thereby enhancing the opportunities around the world for cultural exchange, trade, finance, tourism, and recovery of stolen artifacts, human bones, antiquities, and land.
Because of the above, FANA is continuing its establishment of Ambassadorial positions around the globe. Due to the contact with King Charles of Great Britain and with Ambassadors of foreign countries, FANA appointed Mr. Douglas Scott as Ambassador to the Commonwealth and the Asia Pacific region. Part of his responsibilities will be to assist FANA’s ambassador to Great Britain. He will also be responsible for expanding the Federation’s interests throughout the commonwealth and in the Far East- Asia Pacific regions.
Ambassador Scott has a history of executive-level corporate banking and has been an engineer for decades. He has a long history of supporting indigenous programs, has proven instrumental in writing treaties, and has worked closely with dozens of Indigenous Nations/tribes.
